Massage
I offer the following types of massages, please contact me for prices and additional information.
Reflexology: This is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet to help you feel better. The theory is that this eases stress, and that helps your body work better.
Neurotherapy: This is a special type of massage that focuses on certain muscles to help with blood flow, ease muscle tightness, relieve pain or pressure on nerves, improve posture, and boost circulation. This massage works mainly on the soft parts of your body to help align your bones better and improve how your nervous system works.
Swedish/Thai: This massage is performed to energize the body and improve overall health. This type of massage involves actions like stretching, percussion, kneading, vibration, tapping and rolling to release muscle tension.
Cupping: A type of therapy that is an alternative medicine technique that uses suction to create a vacuum on the skin to stimulate blood flow and healing. This also increases lymphatic movement, reduces fascia and muscle tension, and breaks down scar tissue.
Lymphatic Drainage: This massage relieves swelling that occurs when illness or medical treatment clogs your lymphatic system. Lymphatic massage involves gently manipulating specific areas of your body to move excess fluid buildup away from your tissues and toward working lymph vessels and lymph nodes so they can get rid of toxins in your body.
Myofascial Release: This is an alternative medicine therapy that is useful for treating skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles, improving blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulating the stretch reflex in muscles.
Corporate Chair: This is a brief, on-site massage therapy session for employees during their workday. Workplace massages are performed in a special massage chair designed to be comfortable to sit in while still leaving the participant’s entire back and neck open to be massaged.
